Turning Hardship into Impact: The Path that Led to Bullbeat Records

Support is often received best when it’s least expected. The journey of Bullbeat Records didn’t start in a recording studio; it started from Yei, South Sudan. From an orphan, to a refugee, to building a lasting impact, a legacy that future generations can continue to benefit from.

But to understand where we are going, you have to understand where it all began.

The Rise of Optimised TradingFx

In late 2017, I launched Optimised TradingFx with just $500. Some people laughed at the idea, but I kept my head down and stayed focused. By 2020, a friend who believed in my vision handed me $5,000 to invest, with absolutely no strings attached. I deposited $3,500 of it into the market and, in a remarkably short period, generated over $140,000 in profit.

It felt surreal. My partner and I could hardly believe what we were seeing. For a brief moment, I genuinely thought 2020 was the year I was going to become a millionaire.

A Hard Lesson in Risk

However, the market has a way of humbling you. One evening, I had some mates over to celebrate, and the enjoyment was at an all-time high. Later that night, while my judgment was heavily clouded, I made the impulsive decision to jump back into the markets. I opened some of the most reckless trading positions of my life, exposing my account to extreme risk.

I fell asleep shortly after. When I woke up and checked my phone, my account was bleeding out, I was down more than $60,000.

Panic set in. I rushed to the garage to boot up my PC and get a proper overview of the market, but for some unknown reason, my trading platform completely froze and refused to load. I had no choice but to close all open positions right there on my phone. I managed to salvage $35,000 in profit and left about $5,000 in the account, which was eventually lost.

I tried to bounce back quickly. I opened a new account with a different broker, deposited $10,000, and made a quick $4,000 profit before ultimately blowing up that account as well.

Finding Focus in Regional Australia

It took several failed attempts to realise the harsh truth: that massive, sudden loss had severely damaged my psychology. My trading style had completely changed. I was trading with fear, and my self-confidence was shattered.

I knew I needed to make a decisive move. I stepped away from the distractions of the 'soft life' and relocated out to regional Australia. I isolated myself to do the hard work of regaining my mental stability and focus.

During this time, I started funding support projects through Optimised TradingFx. Surprisingly, this is exactly what helped me find my footing again. I realised that I could use my trading skills to make a positive impact on someone else's journey, the same way my family and close friends made that impact on my journey. And in doing so, to my surprise, I became a much better, more disciplined trader.

As I started looking outward, I realised there was much more to be done. In the music industry, simply sponsoring a professional music video isn't enough. Without a proper, strategy-driven marketing approach, even the best talent goes unnoticed.

When the team at Bazande Pictures brought this exact same vision to my attention, agreeing that artists needed comprehensive, strategic support, the path forward became crystal clear. That is how Bullbeat Records emerged.

Today, Bullbeat Records is a proudly South Sudanese-owned label, officially registered in Australia and operating in South Sudan and the wider East African region .
