A UGANDAN TRAINING SCHOOL OPENS DOORS TO SOUTH SUDANESE YOUTH FOR HEAVY EQUIPMENT COURSES

JUBA — Destiny Technologies Training Centre, a vocational institute based in Uganda, has announced a new intake targeting students from Juba and across South Sudan.

The school specializes in heavy equipment and construction machine operation, training young people to become certified operators of excavators, Sino trucks, forklifts, graders, mobile cranes, and other earthmoving machines.

Speaking to Bullbeats Media, Denis Kisha the managing Director of the school said the goal is to equip South Sudanese youth with globally employable skills for the booming construction, mining, and logistics sectors. “Every bridge, every highway exists because of skilled operators. We want South Sudan’s youth to build their own nation,” Mr. Denis said.

In a discussion with Bullbeats Media, Director Denis confirmed that the Chairman of SPLM Chapter in Kampala, Cde. Dhieu Simon Chol, welcomed the initiative, stating that it will enhance growth and trigger sustainable development among South Sudanese youth. He emphasized that practical skills in heavy machinery are key to reducing unemployment and driving infrastructure development back home. Cde. Dhieu further noted that the SPLM Party will look into enrolling South Sudanese students as part of its ongoing economic empowerment plan for young people.

The school has a branch in Mbarara, Uganda, with transport guidance available for students traveling from Juba. While some reports mentioned an Entebbe Road branch, applicants are advised to confirm location details directly with the school.Destiny Technologies says this program is part of a wider push to address youth unemployment by providing practical, income-generating skills in months, not years.
