Ricky Ben, who holds a degree from St. Lawrence University Kampala, claims the distinction of being the only male artist from Azande Kingdom with a university education background. The artist is currently pursuing his music career and says his academic background sets him apart in an industry he describes as lacking formal education.

"Most of these male musicians cannot read or write properly, yet they call themselves artists," Ricky Ben said in a recent statement. "Education brings discipline and depth to music. Without it, you are just making noise."

The remarks have drawn mixed reactions from local artists and fans, with some calling the comments divisive.
